Little known fact: Maryanne was offered several places at tertiary institutions
to study visual art, as well as music, when beginning the creative journey. Ranked in the top 2% of NSW on completion of HSC Visual Art studies in Australia, earning a leading tertiary entrance rank in this field, and study positions at leading tertiary art colleges. Her collection of works "Aphorisms for Violin & Body" 1997, was a life choice between music & visual art at a young age and toured NSW as part of the prestigious annual exhibitions, Art Express & Art Impress. Formal music studies took precedence at a younger age, however, the creative visual element has stayed with her throughout her career, including cross-genre collaborations & theatre. 2019 saw a return to her purely creative roots while continuing a busy performing schedule & completing new compositions for release. Commissions are being accepted, including fine art, sound installations & more.
